2nd Annual Route 66
Classic Car Festival
After having such a great time at last year's Route 66 Litchfield Classic Car festival, we decided to go again this year. It was much more hot and humid than last year! But by the time we went to the drive-in, it was more comfortable. Pat and I drove separately, because he was going to go on from Litchfield to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a regional Corvair convention for the week, and I was going back home to Indiana. hand greeting fans and signing autographs. I also took a few photos of
the movie screen below. However, three screen captures from the DVD are
among them (should be obvious). And many thanks to Johnny Moo-Moo's imagination, I will never view the dancing intermission hot dog and bun in quite the same way ever again! LOL |

I decided to do a little 66'in on the way home, so I drove from Litchfield through Springfield and into Bloomington. In Bloomington, I took IL 9 east back into Indiana, where it became IN 26. Then I followed US 41 and IN 55 for a little bit, but by the time I neared Crawfordsville, it was late, so I hopped on I-74 to Speedway.
