This was an attraction we were definitely planning to see.  Even if you never heard of Meramec Caverns, if you drive anywhere near there, you will come across their numerous billboards or barn paintings somewhere. On the east side of the Mississippi, they have ads in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and on the west side, they have them in Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas.

I always loved caverns, and Meramec is no exception.  Below are four photos taken there.
